"THIS IS HALLOWEEN... THIS IS HALLOWEEN.... HALLOWEEN... HALLOWEEN... HALLOWEEN!"

We had such a great Halloween! 24 hours of pure fun and excitement! The kids were bouncing off the walls even before having any sugar! This whole month they have been counting the days. They wanted to start putting up Halloween decorations on the 20th of September! I let them choose one a day until October 1st and then we put everything up and declared it Halloween time! So the past 24 hours was very exciting and an accumulation of much anticipation over the last month! Here are a few... (ok a lot) of pictures for you to enjoy and for us to remember this fun Halloween 2007!

We carved pumpkins the night before. Kevin has the kids draw what they want it to look like and he carves the masterpiece. Tate just said he wanted a "Happy Halloween face!"

mmmmm chili... thanks mom for the recipe and the Halloween tradition!

Costumes!! Tate is Sponge Bob Square Pants (he started out the day as a pumpkin and then wanted to switch... long story) Rachel is a CAT... and Mitchell is Tony Hawk!

Mitchell's school parade this morning

Rachel in kindergarten parade. They are so serious!

all the moms and dads followed the kids back to their classroom.
We were like the paparazzi snapping pictures from the doorway!

Tate and his best friend Boston! aka... "the little dudes" look pretty innocent don't they?!!

early in the evening we went "trunk or treating" in the ward parking lot

Rachel & her cute friend Demi at trunk or treat!
Tate sitting there mesmerized trying to unwrap yet another piece of candy!

cute Kayla the vampiris was there

more cute cousins!!
Collin is Darth Vader, Jessica a cheerleader & Jadine a "Deal or No Deal" girl
We LOVE you guys!

Tate caught on really fast! "TRICK OR TREAT!"

can you say "two peas in a pod?!" Rachel and Rylee..... friends FOREVER!
these two pounded the pavement until 9:30 at night!!

Mitchell is getting to the age where he is always off with buddies. I'm lucky to catch him for a picture. Here he is at trunk or treat with his buddy Tate Lassig

Our next door neighbor was making cotton candy. How cool is that?

YUM! I needed some more sugar!!

Look closely or click to enlarge.... this is the classic STICKY Halloween face!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!

ok- I LOVE The pictures! And what a great idea to take a picture of the kids art work- That is probably the best way to save it. Anyway, all the costumes are darling! As are you. Thanks for chatting last night too- you are just too cute! Love ya, Nat

Looks like you guys had lots of Halloween fun. I don't get to visit your blog very often with the baby but it's fun to read. Your kids look so big and I think Mitchell looks a lot like Aaron. -Coze
