"THIS IS HALLOWEEN... THIS IS HALLOWEEN.... HALLOWEEN... HALLOWEEN... HALLOWEEN!"

We had such a great Halloween! 24 hours of pure fun and excitement! The kids were bouncing off the walls even before having any sugar! This whole month they have been counting the days. They wanted to start putting up Halloween decorations on the 20th of September! I let them choose one a day until October 1st and then we put everything up and declared it Halloween time! So the past 24 hours was very exciting and an accumulation of much anticipation over the last month! Here are a few... (ok a lot) of pictures for you to enjoy and for us to remember this fun Halloween 2007!

We carved pumpkins the night before. Kevin has the kids draw what they want it to look like and he carves the masterpiece. Tate just said he wanted a "Happy Halloween face!"

mmmmm chili... thanks mom for the recipe and the Halloween tradition!

Costumes!! Tate is Sponge Bob Square Pants (he started out the day as a pumpkin and then wanted to switch... long story) Rachel is a CAT... and Mitchell is Tony Hawk!

BOO!

We absolutely love our neighborhood! We have been "BOO'd" a couple of times this halloween season and the kids have had a BLAST with it! So... as per the boo'ing tradition... the kids ventured out tonight to leave a special treat on the doorstep of 3 neighbors. I followed along with my camera! They were fast little goblins! Kevin and I had a blast watching them ring the doorbells and run....diving into bushes and hiding around corners!!

Run you cute little goblins you!

Oops... Mitch falls... Tate and Rachel are not waiting!!!

Wsheew... WE"RE safe!! But MOM'S looking REALLY obvious with the camera flashing!!

Fun At The Pumpkin Patch

Tonight I took the kids to pick out their Halloween pumpkins. Rachel's darling friend Rylee came with us too. Dad was working. Yeah, the last few posts you are probably thinking..... where is the cute Dad of this family?? Well, he has picked up an little job painting a basement to earn some extra holiday cash. So, he is usually out working while we are gallivanting around the town doing fun and crazy stuff. I have the hardest working husband EVER! Thanks baby, for all that you do! Anyway, the pumpkin patch was fun. They had a "haunted maze" that looked fairly low key. We all decided to to inside. About 10 steps in Rachel and Tate started screaming at the top of their lungs. Tate jumped into my arms and Rachel started running around in circles freaking out! I scooped her up in my arms and ran back out the entrance. I was able to get them calmed down and focused of picking out their pumpkins. I feel so bad. I hope I haven't totally damaged my kids peace of mind. So, needless to say, there are no pictures of the maze. Luckily there was a fun wheel barrow wagon and I took them for a ride around to view the rows of pumpkins. Each of them picked their favorite. We took some pictures, watched the sun set & then I took them for ice cream at Artic Circle. All in all.... it was a fun night out! Happy Halloween!

Ok, good... still smiling!!
You'd never know I had just traumatized them in the haunted maze! Whsheeew!

The kids love using the camera. They do a great job!
Mitch took this one...
Oh, well maybe there is a glimpse of the maze...
click on this picture to enlarge it and look in the top right corner...

Rachel took this one...
can't remember what Rachel said to make Tate giggle like that!

The wheel barrow wagon that saved the day!

Mitchell helped Tate pick the perfect pumpkin!

Witches At Gardner Village

On Friday, we met my cute cousin Jill and her kids at Gardner Village for some Halloween fun! We saw lots of witches, went to the petting zoo, shopped and ate! It was a great day! It had been way too long since we'd been together. The kids had so much fun! They were seriously wild children. The six of them together made for ONE CRAZY, FUN, LAUGHING, JUMPING, DANCING, SCREAMING GOOD TIME! Thanks for spending the day with us guys!

Flag Football Is Done For The Season

Mitchell had a great time playing flag football. This was his second season playing and he REALLY excelled this go around. He is very athletic and super fast... and he really caught on to the game. It was fun to see him play good and have fun. Kevin was able to coach one of the games when the regular coach was out of town. PROUD DAD..... HAPPY PLAYER! I enjoyed watching and cheering! I can't believe how fast the kids grow up! Mitchell never ceases to amaze me at the things he says and does. He's awesome!

"Ok guys... this is the play..."

Some of Mitch's good buddies were on his team....
Jaden Kasteller, Tate Lassig and Spencer Roberson.
Nothing like a good game of football with the "dudes".

Great Job Mitchell! We're proud of you and team "SLASH"!

The Day After Cinderella! 7 HOURS of swimming!

"Oh Yeah Baby.... Fall weather back home.....
SUMMER IN ST. GEORGE!"
(p.s. sweet abs Tate!)

"Yep... that's what we're talking about.... ST. GORGEOUS!"

Mom? You going to catch me or what?

Rachel took this picture! Good job Rach!

Cute girl!! Lucky Mom!!

Tate's in heaven... " I GO GRAMAS SWIM!"

Oh Yeah... ditching the life jacket... going in for the goggle swim!

Only Rachel can stike a pose while traveling down the slide!
